What we will cover
Power
Striking with power requires more than muscle. It starts with good footwork, balance, and an understanding of proper form. Students will learn how to generate power by using key parts of the body to drive torque and deliver the maximum potential of their bodies.
Footwork

Speed
Staying light on the feet and moving deftly on one’s toes is a skill that must be developed in boxing. Much of speed comes from a sound understanding of the strike and solid footwork. With practice, diligence and consistency, speed will be acquired and applied.
Head Movement
The most important defence besides the guard, ducking, bobbing, weaving and slipping all play an important part in avoiding strikes. Emphasis is placed on minimizing strikes to the head in order to avoid injury and tire out an opponent.
Combinations
Combos feature a variety of punches, jabs, crosses, hooks, uppercuts and overhands to strike your opponent in powerful and rapid succession. Plenty of time is devoted to practicing combinations that will prepare you for competition.
